All Hands Raised stewards parent-led fundraising in Portland Public Schools (PPS) and manages the PPS Parent Fund at no cost to parents or the schools.
This work began in 1994 and has grown today to include 42 active local school foundations that have raised tens of millions of dollars for PPS schools, of which roughly $11 million has been distributed through the PPS Parent Fund. This is amazing work that is also an incredible Portland story. School leaders and parents from across the nation have looked to Portland as a national model for how to raise funds that support kids across the entire district.
Stepping Up, the nation’s only annual study and ranking of K-12 education foundations from more than 200 districts nationwide, has ranked All Hands Raised and the Portland Public Schools Foundation in their Top 50 for the third year in a row – read the report here.
