PPS Local School Foundations

Parents in Portland Public Schools do amazing things!

For over 20 years, All Hands Raised has engaged the community to meet the most urgent educational needs of our kids by supporting the work of PPS Local Schools Foundations (LSFs). In 2015-16, PPS Local School Foundations raised $3.4 million. These funds are currently supporting, in whole or in part, 363 teachers and staff in PPS schools. While the data is a bit dated, this video from 2103 tells the story of PPS parent-led fundraising and its impact:¬†“The Portland Public Schools Foundation: One District. All In.”

It is important to note that one-hundred percent of net parent-raised funds benefit PPS students and schools. All Hands Raised does not keep a single dollar of any of the money raised, including for operating expenses.
