All Hands Raised stewards parent-led fundraising in Portland Public Schools (PPS) and manages the PPS Parent Equity Fund at no cost to parents or the schools.
This work began in 1994 and has grown today to include 44 active local school foundations that have raised tens of millions of dollars for PPS schools, of which roughly $11 million has been distributed through the PPS Parent Equity Fund. This is amazing work that is also an incredible Portland story. School leaders and parents from across the nation have looked to Portland as a national model for how to raise funds that support kids across the entire district.
This work is supported by New Seasons Market, the Demorest Family Foundation, Oregon Community Foundation Roy Fund, and individuals who provide financial support designated for operating expenses. There are easy ways for Portlanders to support this work.
