2012/13 PPS Equity Grants Announced
In 2012/13 All Hands Raised, through its Portland Public Schools Foundation division, and in partnership with Portland Public Schools, awarded $965,000 in PPS Equity Grants to 43 PPS Schools, as well as five alternative programs.
The 2012/13 PPS Equity Grant funds were generated from 39 Local School Foundations (LSFs) in Portland Public Schools, whose dedicated parents, teachers, school staff and leaders designate one-third of what they raised (which totaled $3 million in 2011) through fundraising activities to the PPS Equity Fund.
