2013 Roast presented by Wells Fargo a Success!

Posted on February 22, 2013 in Press Releases

Last night, nearly 700 Oregonians packed the Rose Garden Arena to support the mission of All Hands Raised to help all kids achieve their full potential. The Roast included moving remarks by Lee Po Cha, Director of the Asian Family Center and Board Chair as well as Portland Mayor Charlie Hales. The highlight of the night came with the Roast, however, when the Hacks and the Flacks traded jabs. Despite their valient effort, Hacks Congressman Earl Blumenauer, Oregon Speaker of the House Tina Kotek and METRO President Tom Hughes were defeated by Flacks Peter Ames Carlin, Anne Jaeger and Paul Linnman.

In its 18th year the Annual Roast Festival presented by Wells Fargo is an annual tradition of taking the night off from our shared hard work, to laugh together. To see a full list of sponsors, click here.
