Posted on December 9, 2013 in Press Releases

All Hands Raised has received 4-stars, the highest rating possible, from Charity Navigator which released its ratings on October 31, 2013. Charity Navigator is the largest and most-utilized independent evaluator of charities, analyzing fiscal management, transparency and accountability. All Hands Raised joins more than 30 other Oregon nonprofits earning the same rating. Several nonprofits engaged in the All Hands Raised Partnership were given a similar rating, including Open Meadows Alternative Schools, Oregon Museum of Science and Industry and the United Way of the Columbia-Willamette.

Charity Navigator rates charities by evaluating two broad areas of performance; Financial Health and Accountability & Transparency. These ratings are intended to show donors how efficiently each charity will use donor support, how well it has sustained its programs and services over time and the charities level of commitment to being accountable and transparent. Charity Navigator provides these ratings so that donors can make intelligent giving decisions, and so that the philanthropic community can more effectively monitor itself.
