Leadership Transition: A Message from All Hands Raised Board Chair Trever Cartwright

Tuesday, January 8, 2019
Dear Friends –
On behalf of the Board of Directors, I am writing to share with you that Dan Ryan will resign as CEO of All Hands Raised effective June 30, 2019. I know you will join me in gratitude for Dan’s leadership and vision for the past 11 years. During the next six months Dan and his strong team will remain focused on the work while the Board of Directors identifies a new leader and ensures a smooth and seamless transition. We will share more details about the search process soon.
The All Hands Raised Partnership is Multnomah County’s cradle-to-career initiative to improve educational equity. This model is working—making a difference for our kids—because of deep engagement and commitment of countless individuals and organizations from every sector of the community. In fact, we are recognized as a national leader in this field and a model for other cradle to career initiatives across the country.
“I am extremely proud of our work together. I will leave with the satisfaction of delivering on a promise we all made to our community, and with great confidence in the staff, Board, Leadership Council and the countless partners who work directly with our children and youth. I have not finalized my next steps; my focus remains on leading All Hands Raised through a seamless transition in partnership with our Board,” said Dan.
Thank you for your ongoing commitment to the mission of All Hands Raised, and for being an important part of the Partnership. If you have questions or comments, please don’t hesitate to contact our VP of Communication at jeanie-marie@allhandsraised. org.
Sincerely,
Trever Cartwright
