Thank you for Partying with a Purpose!

Posted on February 26, 2020 in CEO Updates

On Thursday, February 20th, more than 750 community members attended our 25th annual Party with a Purpose presented by Bank of America, supporting the work of All Hands Raised. It was an incredible night celebrating the shared work happening in our community to ensure all kids achieve their full potential as well as laughing with our comedian, Cameron Esposito and Master of Ceremonies Courtenay Hameister.

At the event, we highlighted the work of All Hands Raised in this short video and we heard from our CEO Lavert Robertson who shared, “in order for our kids to reach their dreams we all must be brave enough to change our behaviors, take risks and work together differently. And we must keep working collectively with urgency and patience.”

We also featured voices from some of our local youth, who reminded us about the importance of dreaming and what they need from our community to make their dreams a reality.

These images capture some of the fun we had – you can find (and share!) more on social media using @allhandsraised and #partywithAHR.

We are especially grateful to all of the individuals and organizations who raised their hands and gave generously to support our work to weave together the community’s diverse assets in better service to kids and families. You can add your support by donating to All Hands Raised now.

All of those in the room made the night a huge success, which was marked by Roger Hinshaw, Market President at Bank of America who said this, “We all know that All Hands Raised plays a pivotal role…their focus on education, equity and excellence, from birth to career, is something we all should be investing in.”

A huge thank you to our sponsors!
