Education, Equity & Excellence From Cradle to Career
Learning doesn’t begin and end in the classroom.
Transforming children into educated, independent adults is the job of the entire community. All Hands Raised brings together local business, government, non-profit organizations, faith community, parents, students and community stakeholders to ensure the sustained success of every child in Portland and Multnomah County from cradle to career.
As PPS prepares its budget to meet the needs of the upcoming school year, All Hands Raised announced the 2014-15 PPSF Equity Fund Grants. The $1.25 million awarded to 47 schools and 5 alternative programs is a direct result of parent fundraising through 44 active local school foundations throughout the district. This model of distributing a portion of local school foundation raised funds through the PPSF Equity Fund is a national model for how parents can work to improve the lives of all children in a single district.Learn More about the 2014-15 Awards
